| | Me and You and Everyone We Know |
 | | this review took particularly long to conceptualize. oddly, because it was a particularly good film and many of the scenes in the film have been deeply imprinted into my mind.
what i immediately gained from the film was how it was possible to make seemingly ordinary objects so extraordinarily beautiful/artistic, eg, capturing hidden conversations in photos on tape, hanging paintings on trees.
and we learn that as long as we persevere, we might get what we want. and when we don't, at least we tried.
but what really grew on me, and abducted my train of thought many nights as i lay on the bed in wait of sleep, was a part of a particular well-crafted monologue/conversation.
When me and Pam were first in love, we hated to be apart, even for an hour. We just slept. We loved to sleep when it was time to sleep. Not sex. I mean, we had sex,
but what we really loved was to sleep like babies all day long. Labels: film
