 | today marks the final day of 3 consecutive days spent at the dance studio on new bridge road (today being my usual hiphop and streetjazz classes) and i'm part exhausted, part excited. open house day 1 was much of a chore, with only peiyi joining me for slow jam (which happens to be my favourite genre thus far), leaving me to trudge through pop&lock, lyricaljazz and streetjazz 2 alone. and i woke up the next day with body aches which resembled those from bondue camp. open house day 2 was decidedly better, having been randomly introduced to certain smu salsa members (in the funkyturns class) who were great company throughout my streetjazz 1, salsa 1 and hiphop 2 classes. which brings me to the point of this banal entry: i pray there are male specimens with a similar frequency in indancity or i'll just suffocate from the overdose of femininity and die. |

haha..hey..what sort of dance are you in to?...
lol i'm planning on doing modern/contemporary in smu. i think lyrical stuff is quite cool to perform but street-flavoured choreographies are more fun to watch.
so the waltz/latin type..or the streetdance sort of stuff?
i haven't exactly tried partnering so i don't think ballroom is much of a choice right now lol.
