		beating the heat
		these days, i find myself patronising food outlets that dish out cold desserts. for obvious reasons. climate change! urgh. (photo stolen blatantly from ieatishootipost's review for ice cream chefs) i ordered a milk tea ice-cream mixed with cashew nuts and kinder bueno, which looks deceptively like the image on the left. i probably would hate myself for saying this now, but at that point in time it felt superior to any ben&jerry's concoction i've sampled. the magic was with the addition of kinder bueno. yum :P in summary, it comes in regular ($3.10) and large scoops ($4.80), and additional $0.70 for each mix-in. with free choc fudge! highly recommended also for the extremely friendly service provided. i expected the staff to be seh (or pseudo-drunk like me when i do night shift) by 10.30pm, but they appeared otherwise. oh and ladyboss provided generous sample servings! :) but if you crave for something healthier, there's always ice monster at bencoolen. highly recommended after finally trying it out with grace. very fresh mangoes! :) Labels: food
