 | incredibly straightforward with its plot lined up right from the start, this is mainstream fare of adrenaline-rush at a better-than-average quality. in chong's words, the plot is so thin i could... but much better than the witless shrek 3 at any cost. a comparison to its predecessor would be near-impossible as the previous episode left me scratching my head, which doesn't directly imply a better/worse grading. the breakthrough character this time round was abigail sponda played by ellen barkin: classy, sassy, sexy. and the only woman with a slightly more important role in the film. she and reuben stole the show away. i'm sorry if that's not entirely true. i have a thing for supporting characters :P Labels: film |
