 | i finally got down to browsing through my rss feeds and found out that jeyaratnam is intending to set up a new political party. the first thing that came to my mind was, wow. he raised many valid points regarding aspects that required reform, many of which i have considered myself on my own free time while bumming around in bed, such as the privatisation of the election process and military/police. but unfortunately, imho, the timing is still wrong. what this would result in would be a further fragmentation of votes to the opposition, because we still have the other more prominent undying father and his loyal citizens who have been with him through the tumultuous years. the time would only arrive when a new generation of thinking citizens take over. and that is not now. not yet.
