| honestly, i was pleasantly surprised when melinda exuded so much star quality in her first performance, of whitney housten's "i believe in you and me", but "i'm a woman" was my favourite of hers of the night. this had been performed this previously in the preliminary stages but coming back and performing this again was akin a summary snapshot of her progress, with the choreography where she brought the backup girls with her to the front being oh-so-symbolic. nobody else deserves a place in the finals except her. go melinda! :D (and goodbye for 5 days. shanghai here we go!)
