 | i think it's pretty inspiring how the ministers wax lyrical about deriving policies based on the supposed emotional and social welfare of the nation (read: inclusion of homosexuality into society) when they do so much harm instead (read: demolition of national library). the point the government seems to be missing is that wages are not determined by opportunity cost. i do not get a higher wage as a roadsweeper simply because i could have been an accountant, given my credentials. i get a wage as a roadsweeper because i'm a roadsweeper. salaries should be pegged against professions in the same field, not across industries. oh whatever. they don't listen anyway. i just find this section pretty amusing: 9. We don’t have to just rely on comparisons by think tanks.
