 | is 12,000,000x the value of the scholarship i'm aiming for! wtf. but i honestly don't understand why it is mentioned that singapore is "a convenient stop for this (islamic) capital". we have an underfed, marginalised group of minority muslims in this country (no matter how often the government repeatedly claims the country to be multi-racial), of which consisting a majority who can't read arabic and therefore, the original Quran. and after having malaysia defeat us in the race for the world's best airport, i am highly skeptical of how much of this pie singapore can obtain. with that said, islamic economics is highly entertaining. it might be worthwhile delving into this sector after all. |
