		seriously, isn't the monsoon season over already? seriously. i hate it when it rains. don't get me wrong, i love it when it rains if i'm indoors under the sheets with a good book/dvd and a bolster hug. i hate it when it rains if i have to trudge in the rain for an hour to my aspergic student's place and suffer acute emotional distress from illegible handwriting, unintelligible logic and indistinct mumblings of condescendent terms under his breath. under normal circumstances, i listen to tanita tikaram's sentimental and feel serene. under today's circumstances, i listen to tanita tikaram's sentimental with half-soaked pants and clearly shivering on the cold streets of bukit timah and felt lonelier than ever. as a result, i switched to jack johnson's brushfire fairytales, another of my rainyday albums and felt a little better.
