| | do we overwhelm |
 | | four days of excruciating, back-breaking on-job-training has come to pass, and i'm now rewarded with 10 full days of rest and spring cleaning before i work my ass off once february arrives.
i was just wondering, whether we are in a neverending competition for the earnings; if it matters that i don't earn as much as the next unemployed student. everyone cringes at my pay but i cringe at their work. so where do we draw the line?
when one starts working with people who stay on for more than the meagre pay, connections are drawn. one begins to realise that maybe, just maybe, there's more to work than earning cold, hard cash; that maybe we need some passion in life too. in contrast with the moneygrabbers in my usual social circle, it's a (much-needed) refreshing change. i can say that i'm having fun, despite trudging home from work weary with dry eyes. working at sentosa is very much like school; it's more enjoyable being there than thinking about it.
i think i might stay for more than a month after all.
but braving through a lack of riches requires great courage and will (or a very affluent pillar of support). braving through opportunities of alternate wealth requires even greater courage and will. coming to face myself, i have to admit i moneygrab by nature. oh well. we'll see where this road leads.Labels: sentosa, work

re whether it's for the earnings or for fun, my take on it is tt it should be for the fun now :) leave the earnings for aft you graduate!
you're only young once and it's gd to take this opportunity to explore things tt you won't get a chance to in e future :) have fun at work and take care!
